7Stalks Consulting LLC was founded in 2005 by Steven Klass with a clear mission: deliver production-quality technical solutions for organizations where reliability, transparency, and auditability matter. Based in Gilbert, Arizona, we serve clients nationwide across federal government, energy, infrastructure, and regulated industries.
The name "7Stalks" represents growth, resilience, and the bundled strength that comes from combining diverse expertise into unified solutions. Like wheat stalks bound together, we integrate hardware knowledge, software engineering, and process discipline to solve complex challenges.
Our philosophy is straightforward: find logical solutions through the careful integration of hardware, software, and process. We don't chase trends or recommend technology for its own sake. Every recommendation is grounded in decades of production experience and focused on your mission's success.

About Steven Klass
Steven Klass brings over three decades of software engineering experience to every engagement. His career spans U.S. Navy Signals Intelligence systems, semiconductor engineering leadership at National Semiconductor and SMSC, and co-founding Pivotal Energy Solutions—a company focused on energy efficiency analytics and RESNET standards compliance.
Having studied Electrical Engineering at Arizona State University, Steven approaches every problem with a first-principles mindset. His background combines deep technical expertise with practical business acumen developed through years of product development, technical leadership, and entrepreneurship.
Steven brings the rigor required for federal court proceedings to every technical consulting engagement. His ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly—whether to a jury, a board of directors, or an engineering team—is a consistent differentiator.
